- Light
- low to bright indirect. The deep green form holds up in dimmer light better than the variegated cultivars
- Water
- let the top inch or two dry out completely between waterings. Yellow leaves near the base almost always mean too much water rather than too little
- Toxicity
- toxic to dogs and cats (ASPCA, listed as golden pothos): insoluble calcium oxalates cause oral irritation, intense burning and irritation of the mouth, tongue and lips, excessive drooling, vomiting and difficulty swallowing. Also poisonous to people (NC State Extension, medium severity); the sap can irritate skin
Toxicity confirmed against ASPCA Animal Poison Control; NC State Extension Plant Toolbox.
