- medium to low indirect only. Direct sun bleaches the markings that are the entire point of the plant

- keep evenly moist and use filtered or distilled water. Tap water leaves brown, crispy leaf edges over time. It wants humidity, and it will tell you when it is not getting enough
- Toxicity
- not toxic to dogs or cats. Eating a lot of any plant can still upset a stomach, but this one is not poisonous
